Name, craft/industry/blog/passion, most popular handle/website:
Johnny Caldwell & Taneka Reaves
How did you get started?
The Cocktail Bandits started with the love of tequila. We have tasted over 175 tequilas, and we created an instagram to educate about different tequilas. Our friends encouraged us to create a blog and talk about other spirits, so we did.
What or who influenced you the most as you were developing your craft?
We’re big fans of the Tone It Up girls. Those chicks do food, travel, fashion and lifestyle all encompassing their fitness brand. They’re killing it!
Why do you love your job?
Our job allows us to be creative with things that we love: food, drinks, events and people!
What inspires you?
We are inspired by what we don’t see. We attend so many events and work with so many companies but we still see area that need improvement; even opportunities to create entire industries. That’s inspiring and exciting!

innovative, progressive, hopeful, fun, colorful

(Fill in the blank) I appreciate _______ in my life, because _______.
I appreciate the struggles we thought we had in our life, because now we are aware of how strong we really are and no struggle is big enough for us to quit.
What was one of the hardest lessons or toughest obstacles you had to overcome?
Learning how to respond to adversity and accepting that everyone will not like what we are doing.
Advice for someone who is looking to begin a new hobby/job/life pursuit:
Do what you like; not what’s popular. Getting stuck talking about something you don’t like is just like having a job. Spend that time learning more on what you love then share that love with the masses. That’s how you start a revolution.
Something your followers would be surprised to learn about you:
we both went to college for political science. We love politics, we just don’t want to talk about them in public settings.
Favorite food: Pasta with seafood sauce!
Favorite drink: Tequila. If we’re talking about cocktails; a Margarita.
Favorite song: T Pain: Buy you a Drink
Favorite quote: “It doesn’t get easier, you get better” – Jim Rohn
