#TPBTH Meet: Stephanie Pascarella
Name: Stephanie Pascarella
Company: Wash with Water®
Handle: Instagram @washwithwater
How did you get started?
Wash with Water started in a tub in Isle of Palms, South Carolina with one little girl, my then five-year old daughter, Violet.
Our daily operations are based in Isle of Palms, South Carolina, where we raise our two daughters, Violet and Valentina and new baby boy, Vonn Crusoe! I am incredibly proud and diligent to ensure all Wash with Water® products are produced right here in the USA, with responsible sourcing, recycling, and community in mind. From the thoughtful development of our organic products to our eco-conscious packaging, each child has always been and will remain at the center of our choices as a company.
What or who influenced you the most as you were developing your craft?
Becoming a mother was a game changer for me. During a hectic day of work and play, finding a quiet moment for you and your family can be challenging. That’s why I was really drawn to creating a brand dedicated to crafting all-natural, organic skin and hair products that remind us to slow down and enjoy the little things that make life beautiful. All of our award-winning, made-in-the-USA products are created using only ingredients chosen with the utmost care. We use Moroccan Argan oil and Calendula to ensure that our products are ultra-gentle, hypoallergenic and perfect for every stage of your family’s life — protecting baby’s delicate skin, maintaining mama’s healthy glow and caring for your child as she grows. And because we are committed to preserving our earth’s limited resources for our children and generations to come, our products are all 100 percent vegan and cruelty-free, as well as free of any harsh chemicals or synthetics. Know that each of our products is sent with love from our heart to your home. Because we believe bath time is not just another task to check off — it’s family time in your hands.

What was one of the hardest lessons or toughest obstacles you had to overcome?
When you are pouring every espresso-fueled minute of your day into a brand, it is easy to forget that the beautiful force behind this creative energy (YOU) needs attention too. After skipping a maternity leave (twice) and many nights of sleeps, I have learned to BLOCK 30 minutes every day to re-charge, meet for coffee with friends (no business talk allowed), work out, take a nice long bubble bath.
Advice for someone who is looking to begin a new hobby/job/life pursuit:
Keep a small journal and action board of your goals for the business- and never stop doodling or making daily notes for yourself. These accomplishments may not happen overnight (and certainly not without a LOT of hard work) but start to put the ideas out into the universe. The small business world thrives on the law of attraction- if you dream it, believe it, work for it, you will receive it!
Something your followers would be surprised to learn about you:
I am painfully shy
Favorite food: the only thing I crave on a consistent basis is the veggie Panini from Huriyali on Huger
Favorite drink: tequila
Favorite song: anything grown up- I have been listening to a lot of nursery rhymes these days
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive. Oriah Mountain Dreamer
